Neilan was born and raised right here in sunny Jacksonville, FL and has always dabbled in the arts. From painting and drawing, to working as a professional photographer, she has always had a creative streak. After realizing that photography wasn't quite the right fit, she decided to try her hand at hairdressing and we are so lucky she did! 

Now, Neilan is enrolled at Florida State College at Jacksonville, majoring in Cosmetology Arts, where she met her professor, our very own Lacey Roszak! Lacey immediately noticed Neilans natural talent and passion and just HAD to bring her to Phi! 

Neilan is currently apprenticing under both Lacey and Carissa and has developed a true love of barbering, fantasy colors and curly hair, and also dreams of helping people with hair loss that are struggling to feel like themselves, as she has personal experience with the devastating effects of hair loss herself. 

When she isn't at the salon, or in school, you can find Neilan slinging drinks at One Night Taco Stand, getting gains at the gym or working on a new art project. She is passionate about living a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, so be sure to ask her about her best health tips!
